Well, tomorrow ((Thursday)) is my last full day in Germany. Friday morning, I hop on the bus to the airport, then it´s a nine hour flight back to the States. I almost don´t want to leave here, but I miss a lot of the trivial things in life.

I miss, and these are only a few of the things;
buttered popcorn
thunderstorms
watching television in English
my bed, along with my pillow
my laptop
being able to shave my legs in the shower
my cell phone
the close contact with my friends
texting
being able to pig out on all the junk food I want
Being bored without really being bored

I notice, with this, that I am very materialistic. It actually isn´t that bad, because I do have a laptop here, which isn´t mine, but that´s ok.. for now, at least. I like being able to read stuff on these sites that aren´t in German. So it´s a good thing that I know a lot of my favorite websites by heart. I also miss American keyboards. They are so much easier to use than this keyboard. But I know that when I get back, I´ll be frustrated, because I got used to this keyboard now.

I also miss being able to write an entire story down on my laptop. I have a notepad, and a pen, but my writing hand cramps up a lot, and I like typing better because my fingers keep up with my mind, which runs pretty fast, in itself.

To commemorate the fact that I now have fun over 1000 page views, I will be posting the final chapter of Left Standing... as a gift for everybody that has viewed my page, and my art. That will have to wait until the weekend, though, when I will be able to sit and actually write it out. It should be exciting. I know there are a lot of people out there waiting for that final moment.

I will also be putting up the first chapter of Worlds Collided, my newest story. It´s still a process in the making, but it will be grand. The only issue I have is that I am also thinking up another story, which isn´t allowed to be in print until this story is finished. So...

I have taken up a slightly new passion in photography. It isn´t great, and I will probably quit when I get home, but when I do, I will post all of my artistic-y photos on DA for everyone to see. I think everyone will like that.

Anyway, I´m off. I still have an hour to kill, so I´m going to do a little bit of packing before I go buy chocolate.
